A fantastic holiday and suntan!

Just last week, two former marketing students of mine popped in to see me, between you and me, just to talk about their fantastic holiday and show off a double sun tan.

It was a freezing cold day but they still stepped out of the car wearing shorts and tee shirts – I thought; they’re as mad as they are brilliant Marketers!

They met at one of my Workshops around 4 years ago and we attended their wedding a few months later.

Anyway, after spending 3 idyllic weeks in Rio de Janeiro they were fine tuned and ready to get back to work.

This decided me to add this category because a fantastic holiday can be such fun, particularly if you love the country or have never been before and get come home with a suntan.

What’s been the cheapest holiday you’ve ever been on?

Mine was an excuse to avoid Christmas madness – I was young – single and told everyone I was spending 10 days in Iceland – could have been a fantastic holiday and was guaranteed not to have a sun tan!

I stayed at home – had enough food and drink to last a month – watched a lot of TV – read the books I’d been planning to read for 3 years – didn’t answer the phone once.

I decided to do it again the following year but never quite got round to it – and haven’t since!
