But what is an Entrepreneur – really?
The Internet is the greatest, least expensive and most available form of communication RIGHT NOW that you can make use of to tell the world about your new Product, Service or Hobby.
During my years as a Professional Marketer I’ve had endless discussions with literally hundreds of different groups in 4 countries about effective marketing on and off line.
Each individual in every group considered him or her self to be an entrepreneur.
You must with total self honesty define which category you slot into; successful entrepreneur, a wanna-be or a gonna
Most successful entrepreneurs I know have, in the past been involved in umpteen businesses, have failed, got off the floor and started all over again without bemoaning their “bad luck.” (You make your own luck!)
They had an evangelical belief in themselves and didn’t have a single doubt about their future success.
I empathise, respect and truly admire them!
The family of one Lady I know disowned her because she just wouldn’t stop trying – she even lost her home in the process – until at 58 years young she discovered something the public needed then developed and sold it in the 10’s of thousands.
At 60, she’s almost a cash millionaire and guess what, her greedy family have “forgiven” her because they like the smell of her money!
Of course she needed help to achieve and found it in the form of a brilliant young woman who is fantastic at what she does and because of her confidence and belief in a Lady old enough to be her Mum worked for nothing because they both knew they would make it happen.
Obviously that young woman is now very well off and helping plan the next Product launch – still without a written Contract or Agreement!
Are you an Wanna-Be?
If you have a total self believe in you, because that’s where it starts – even with a fantastic Product or Service – if you don’t believe in you – forget it and get a job.
Additionally, do you know how to tell everyone out there about your Product or Service? – initially they’re not particularly interested in you, the person.
There are 10’s of thousands of websites assuring you that they can bring you success – DON’T LISTEN TO THEM!
The only person who can bring you the success that you can touch is YOU!
Sure, you need to know how, but that’s easy when every sinew in your body is screaming you can. Just choose your knowledge source wisely.
You need to know how
Next you have to consider how much you can afford to spend to find out how, because believe me this information can cost you a small fortune on the Internet when you’re not certain of what’s essential and what isn’t.
I’ve listened to many stories at my Workshops and Boot Camps about the quite large (in some cases) amounts that those attending have previously spent to little avail.
Do you dream of success and have lots of Ideas?
Rather than talk about it I’d like to share a few of my favourite quotations with you:
There is nothing like a dream to create the future. – Victor Hugo
The value of an idea lies in the using of it. – Thomas Edison
To get what you want, you have to feel that you already have it. – Peggy McColl
Ideas shape the course of history. – John Maynard Keynes
You know you are on the road to success if you would do your job, and not be paid for it. – Oprah Winfrey
There’s no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love. There is only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen. – Wayne Dyer
A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. –George Bernard Shaw
Success is achieved by those who try and keep trying – W.C. Stone
These people express more in a few words than most of us could in several pages!
