Prime Minister’s Question Time

What a complete waste of Tax Payers’ money.

Do you remember when you were at school and two kids started arguing in the playground?

They stood a few feet apart and hurled verbal, often veminous abuse at each other for several minutes but never quite got round to fighting.

Of course they attracted a crowd that assembled to jeer and cheer then leave as quickly as they arrived culminating in a soon forgotten non-event that effectively achieved absolutely nothing

Have you ever considered that Prime Minister’s Question Time in its present form was derived by an immature Politician who yearned to re-run his or her former playground memories at least once a week?

The Prime Minister and main Opposition Leaders behave like 3 silly little boys for almost 45 minutes each week to the delight of hundreds of equally silly boys and girls who strangely wave pieces of paper about.

But just stop and think for a moment: When we elected all 647 of these urchins, we gave them permission to waste our money in this manner.

I move that it’s now time to withdraw our permission.

Let’s get rid of this abominable farce

I suggest we leave Mr Brown to continue to prove to the electorate that he really can, as he has promised, get our country out of the shit that the criminal behaviour of Dumb and Dumber (Regulators) and the Banksters created.

I further move that Messrs Cameron and Osborne immediately remove themselves from the school yard and tell us in detail what they intend to do to fix things if they’re elected.

How in the name of sanity can we place our’s, our children’s and grand children’s future in the hands of some inexperienced rich bods who won’t tell us, a potential employer of their future plans?

Every responsible employer must determine the suitability of any future employee(s) particularly when they claim they can steer our Business (the UK) back to profitability when we owe so much money.

Please don’t forget, whether you’re FOR or AGAINST it, we’re also at war and responsible for every service man and woman who volunteered to sacrifice their lives if necessary in the name of the UK.

Why not have a Public Debate?

Finally, let’s replace Prime Minister’s Question Time with a live monthly televised debate featuring the PM and all Opposition Leaders in front of a selected panel and an audience in different parts of the country.

We own the BBC so why shouldn’t we insist that it hosts this debate just before Thursday night’s Question Time to allow the panel and the audience to rate each performance.

Politicians are answerable to us.

Perhaps it’s time to insist they do as we ask.

It’s called People Power!

I should point out that to date, I’m still undecided who to vote for!
